Vintage Barn Beam Bench

This piece features a solid Hand Hewn Douglas Fir barn beam, salvaged from a local Century Barn in Halton Hills.
 
The age of the barn that was built with this beam, combined with the number of rings on the beam, dates this piece back to the 1700s when it was a sapling tree.
 
The old mortise joint in the middle of the bench adds a unique storage feature for books, magazines, and tech, with access through the back and top to run charging cables for added convenience.
